This
happened already in Israel when I worked in one of Tel-Aviv architectural
shops. They were awarded a pre-feasibility drawing project for expansion
of Kiev International Airport “Borispol”. The project advanced only up to the
stage of pencil sketches. It was 1991. What prompted the Ukrainian government
at that time to resort to the services of Israeli architects? This still
remains a mystery to me. There still were much more qualified professionals
there, than here in the Promised Land…
